Build Your Automated Daily Digest

Start informed.
Act on what matters.

I built and configured an AI-powered scheduled workflow that turns multiple connected information sources into a concise, actionable morning briefing—without creating another app or requiring manual daily prompting.

Built with ChatGPT scheduled tasks and connected information sources. This public page demonstrates the workflow; it is not a live account-connected dashboard.

Daily · 8 AM ET

Configured for every morning in America/New_York, with flexible scheduling.

2–3 minutes

Urgent information and the top three priorities appear first.

Read-only

No automatic emails, purchases, bookings, posts, or account modifications.

What I built

I designed, configured, and refined a standalone recurring ChatGPT task called Automated Daily Digest. Instead of manually checking several services each morning, the task is instructed to retrieve relevant information, verify it, prioritize it, and prepare a short daily briefing.

Connected information

Integrated Gmail and Google Calendar, including a subscribed MeetMind appointment feed. The briefing also requests current public news and local weather for Cumberland, Maryland.

Intelligent prioritization

Defined urgency-first ordering, top three actions, preparation steps, a 48-hour calendar lookahead, up to three meaningful email updates, fresh news, and significant project alerts.

Automation and coordination

Configured a daily 8 AM Eastern schedule and rules to avoid repeating detailed work already handled by a Monday Inbox Assistant or hourly Urgent Inbox Watch.

System architecture

From connected sources to one actionable briefing

This diagram illustrates the workflow I configured. The public website is a demonstration, not a live connection to my accounts.

1. Information sources

Read-only information gathering from connected and public sources.

2. Scheduled AI workflow

Verify access and dates → check urgency → remove repetition → rank top three actions → format a 2–3 minute digest.

How I designed the workflow

Source checks before summaries

The task must identify accessible sources each run, distinguish unavailable information, review relevant full email threads, and verify calendar times rather than guessing.

Useful, not noisy

I refined the instructions after reviewing a sample: shorter length, urgency-first presentation, only meaningfully new news, and only important unresolved or escalating technical issues.

Privacy and safety by design

The task is read-only: no sending emails, drafting messages, editing calendars or labels, making purchases or bookings, or posting to accounts. The public example uses fictional data.

Separate workflows, coordinated roles

Rather than merging or replacing existing automations, I assigned the Daily Digest the overview role, the Monday Inbox Assistant the detailed correspondence role, and Urgent Inbox Watch the immediate-alert role.

What has been verified

Confirmed

ChatGPT reports the task is enabled with a daily recurring schedule beginning November 3, 2026, at 8 AM America/New_York. During sample preparation, connected Gmail and both the primary and subscribed Google calendars returned information.

Still to verify

The first autonomous run and actual notification delivery were not yet confirmed when this showcase was prepared. The scheduling mode is flexible, so execution may occur around—not precisely at—8 AM.

This project is an automation configured inside ChatGPT. The Cloudflare Pages website is its public documentation and demonstration, not a claim that the automation runs on Cloudflare.

What a morning briefing looks like

Illustrative sample — not live personal data

Good morning. Here's what matters.

Example digest · Eastern Time · Fictional entries

TIME-SENSITIVE · TOP 31. Prepare for an upcoming meeting

Review the agenda and confirm the meeting details before the scheduled start.

2. Check an important service alert

Review the provider dashboard for an expiring credential or unresolved outage.

3. Review a pending reply

Read the complete email thread and check whether a response is still needed.

📅 Calendar & preparation

Today's verified appointments and the next 48 hours, with local times and preparation prompts.

✉️ Important email

Only meaningful follow-ups; avoid routine automated notifications and duplicates.

☁️ Cumberland weather

Current conditions and practical implications with source links when the task runs.

🌍 News & projects

Meaningfully new AI, education, conservation news and material project alerts.

Each scheduled run should check live sources, include links and explicitly flag information that cannot be accessed or verified.

Workflow

How the automation works

01 · Gather

Use connected Gmail, Google Calendar and a subscribed appointment feed, plus public news and weather.

02 · Prioritize

Identify verified time-sensitive items, top three priorities and preparation for upcoming commitments.

03 · Summarize

Create a concise scheduled ChatGPT task result with links, caveats and practical next actions.

Responsible design

Designed to reduce notification overload

Daily Digest

Brief cross-source overview. On Mondays, email coverage is minimized to avoid repeating the weekly review.

Existing inbox workflows

A separate Monday Inbox Assistant reviews correspondence, while an Urgent Inbox Watch handles genuinely new urgent developments. Both remain independent.

The scheduled task has been configured and enabled. This showcase does not claim successful delivery of future runs or guarantee source availability.
